Individual Ignition Of The Ignition Coil

The individual ignition method is to assign an ignition coil to each cylinder, and the ignition coil is directly installed on the top of the spark plug, which also eliminates the high-voltage wire. This ignition method achieves precise ignition through camshaft sensors or by monitoring cylinder compression. It is suitable for engines with any number of cylinders and is particularly suitable for engines with 4 valves per cylinder. Because the spark plug ignition coil combination can be installed in the middle of the double overhead camshaft (DOHC), fully utilizing the gap space. Due to the cancellation of the power distributor and high-voltage line, energy conduction and leakage losses are minimal, without mechanical wear. Additionally, the ignition coils and spark plugs of each cylinder are assembled together and wrapped in metal, greatly reducing electromagnetic interference and ensuring the normal operation of the engine's electronic control system.
