However, the highest level automotive sensor products currently available in China are more than 10 years behind similar foreign products, with over 500000 sets of high-performance automotive sensors imported annually.
Many sensor manufacturers, in order to enhance the competitiveness of their products, adopt a joint venture with foreign counterparts in the same industry to digest and absorb foreign sensor technology, upgrade and upgrade their products, and gradually develop and grow. Some have become downstream suppliers of several major "electronic injection" system manufacturers. However, the vast majority of enterprises only produce other automotive sensors in a supporting manner, resulting in low profits, single products, and low product quality and technical level.
With the rapid growth of domestic automobile production, the demand for sensors and their supporting transmissions and instruments in the domestic automotive industry will also greatly increase in the coming years. It is imperative to achieve the localization of automotive sensors. In order to adapt to this situation, we should focus on the development of new pressure, temperature, flow, displacement and other sensors. It is a very urgent task to solve the sensors required by the electronic injection system, air conditioning and sewage system and auto drive system for the automotive industry as soon as possible. For vehicle manufacturers, automotive sensors are secondary supporting products that must be entered into the vehicle manufacturer's supporting system in a systematic manner. The strength of a primary system supporting supplier is related to the brand of the host factory, so it is necessary to establish a system platform to drive the development of sensors through the system.
