Reasons for excessive fuel injection
There are three common reasons for excessive fuel supply from the fuel injection pump of diesel generator sets:
1. The adjusted fuel supply of the fuel injection pump plunger is too large, or the locking screw of the adjusting gear ring is loose, causing the displacement of the adjusting gear ring, resulting in excessive fuel supply of the fuel injection pump
2. The adjustment screw for limiting the maximum oil volume of the gear rack in the governor is adjusted too much or the throttle handle limit screw is adjusted too much
3. Excessive oil in the governor increases the fuel supply and leads to "runaway".
