Fuel injector leak

Fuel injector leakage failure is generally divided into internal leakage and external leakage two cases. The internal leakage of the injector is mostly due to its early wear in use, resulting in its continuous leakage of fuel into the intake manifold under the action of system pressure. The external leakage of the injector mostly occurs at the connection of the injector and the oil rail, and most of them are sealed by the sealing surface. If the gasoline leaks outside the intake manifold, the oil drops on the cylinder block, and will evaporate in the engine compartment after heat, once the electric spark occurs, it will cause a fire at any time, and the consequences are very serious. When the internal leakage of the injector occurs, it will cause the fuel atomization emitted by the injector to be poor, causing the engine to operate unsmoothly, the mixture combustion is incomplete, and the exhaust pipe will emit black smoke, which will lead to a significant increase in the fuel consumption of the vehicle. When the external leakage failure of the injector occurs, it will cause the engine to start difficult, idle stall, power decline, fuel consumption increase, operation surge and poor acceleration and other faults. In addition, when the sealing surface at the connection between the injector and the intake pipe is damaged, it will also cause the intake system to leak, resulting in additional air entering the engine combustion chamber, causing the mixture to be thin, causing the engine to operate abnormally.
